PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW
From the moment I first stepped into a film studio at the age of seven, I was captivated by the world of visual storytelling. My father, a filmmaker, often brought me along to witness the intricate process of cutting and editing 35mm film on the Moviola, sparking a lifelong passion for the craft. At home, my mother—a lover of literature—introduced me to the works of Shakespeare, Hugo, and other timeless writers, shaping my understanding of narrative both in written form and on screen.
Though I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, my true calling was always within the realm of television and media. I began my career as a video editor, immersing myself in the art of visual storytelling. Editing provided a foundation in the technical aspects of narrative construction, teaching me how each frame, transition, and cut builds emotional resonance. These years of precise work instilled in me the discipline necessary to deliver impactful stories.
As my passion grew, I transitioned from editing to television directing, where I found myself working on a diverse range of programs—from live broadcasts and documentaries to entertainment shows. Directing required me to blend the technical skills I had honed as an editor with a creative vision that could lead larger teams and manage productions in both studio and field environments. Whether handling political talk shows, cultural documentaries, or entertainment programs, I learned how to orchestrate complex productions under tight deadlines while maintaining the integrity of the story.
One of the most significant milestones in my career was becoming Programs Director at NRT, a leading news channel. In this role, I led a diverse team to produce high-quality content across a range of programming, including live news, documentaries, and in-depth social and political discussions. Operating in high-pressure environments, often in conflict zones across the Middle East and North Africa, required a deep commitment to journalistic integrity and adaptability. Working across different languages and cultures sharpened my ability to craft messages that resonate with varied audiences.

Over the years, I’ve also led strategic content campaigns across the region, crafting messages tailored to diverse cultural contexts. Whether developing content in MENA, I’ve learned to adapt strategies to engage audiences on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Each campaign reflects a balance of creativity and strategic focus, ensuring that the content not only tells a story but also achieves its intended impact.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with numerous international companies and organizations from the UK, the Gulf region, and the United States, as well as renowned global NGOs. Working closely with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds has not only enriched my perspective but also refined my ability to adapt content and messages to resonate with varied cultural contexts. This exposure to different professional environments and cultural nuances has been instrumental in shaping my approach to storytelling and strategic content creation, adding depth and versatility to each project I undertake

Directing remains central to my identity. I’ve directed projects that focus on human experiences and social issues, with each production requiring the ability to maintain creative integrity under pressure. From documentaries on displaced communities to cultural programming, my work continues to reflect a commitment to storytelling that moves and inspires.
In addition to my directing work, I’m proud to serve as a jury member for the Sumer Film Festival, where I collaborate with fellow filmmakers to evaluate and celebrate new voices in cinema. My involvement in the festival allows me to contribute to the industry while staying connected to emerging trends in storytelling.

Whether I’m directing a live broadcast, leading a content team, or writing articles that challenge conventional thinking, I approach each project with the same motivation—to create stories that resonate deeply with audiences and leave a lasting impact.
